Lucknow's IT scene in 2026 is not what it was five years ago. The HCL IT City campus at Sushant Golf City employs roughly 4,000 people. TCS Awadh Park in Gomti Nagar holds 2,500+ associates. A second tier of boutique studios — Codingclave, SigmaIT, Ezeonsoft, Websofy, Jamtech — has matured into serious players for SMB and startup work, with founder-led delivery and Tier-1-quality engineering at 30 to 50 per cent lower cost.
This guide lists only companies with a verified Lucknow presence — physical office address, CIN, or campus location confirmable via public records. Several lists circulating online include Newgen Software, Birlasoft, Yatiken, Saturotech and AppPerfect as "Lucknow companies". They are not. Newgen and Birlasoft are headquartered in Noida / Greater Noida. Yatiken is in Sector 137 Noida. Saturotech is in Pune. AppPerfect is in Cupertino, California. I have left them out.

HCL IT City Lucknow is the flagship outcome of this policy — a 100-acre campus built on a public-private partnership model with the state government.
